WHAT IS "CONTENT MARKETING"
Simply put, Content Marketing is the art of educating prospect or existing customers (B2B or B2C) about your brand, business or product, via the use of targeted and inspired story-telling.
The key element is to know your audience particulars. Once established, this is when Content Marketing kicks in and it can be achieved via a specific medium (print, digital, video, social media, blog posts, videos, infographics, eBooks...) or be omnichannel.
The goal of content creation is to retain the interest of your audience in your brand and develop your identity by publishing content in relation to your products and not necessarily about these products.

However, whereas Social Media Marketing is highly formatted to fit a specific social media platform with its limitations, Content Marketing has no boundaries and refers to blog entries, print or digital articles, videos, temporary or dedicated websites, which can all be linked to via social media.
